A seasoned 14-year veteran, Timothy Barnwell has acquired an extensive marketing, sales, retail, promotions, international touring, and sound recording experience. He began his career as a club disc jockey, and shortly thereafter, was inspired to attend The Music Business Institute. After a year of intense studies, Mr. Barnwell -- “Headliner” – co-founded the first southern/hip-hop/alternative group – Arrested Development. After signing a recording and publishing agreement with EMI Records, the group immediately aimed for a higher level of success. With the timely release of their album “3 years, 5 months, 2 days in the life of ...” the music industry was revolutionized. Within months the album surpassed platinum status and eventually peaked at 4.5 million copies sold world-wide. Along with the group’s phenomenal success, Mr. Barnwell has been awarded 2 Grammy Awards, 2 MTV Awards, 2 Soul Train Awards, and a permanent world-wide fan base.
