Saima has committed herself to working for women‚s rights in Pakistan and other parts of southern Asia. She is working from last 12 years in various part of the country. Her career began with working for the enhancement of the girl education through out the country especially in the rural and remote areas of the Balochistan through an organization Society for Community Support for Primary Education in Balochistan, (SCSPEB). She worked in more then 2000 villages with community to mobilize them on girls‚ education.
She worked with the Institute for Development Studies and Practices a well-known organization for human resource generation as founding faculty member. She was part as core faculty member in „seven courses‰ of the IDSP, and more then 1400 youths from all over the country were part of those courses.
Recently she is working with Society for Empowering Human Enabling Recourse (SEHER) as Manager Child Protection and Youth Empowerment. She is working with Juvenile, garbage picking children and educational institutes (school, collage, Madrassa, (religious schools)].she is also working as coordinator of the Center for Information and Counseling for youth on [HIV/AIDS] at SEHER.
She has also provided technical support to the education foundation of Sindh, NWFP and Islamabad for girl education improvement, contributed to The Asia Foundation‚s „safe motherhood initiative‰ ,UNHCR , UNICEF and Agha Khan University and written several articles on women and development.
A member of the traditional Pashtoon family of Balochistan Saima has earned Masters Degrees in Sociology and International Relations.
She is part of the different network. (Learning Society Conference, World Youth Jam, India Pakistan Youth Forum for Peace, Pakistan Reproductive Health Network and Balochistan Social Forum).
