Bio:

Zobon is a Librarian, presently residing in a refugee camp in Ghana, having fled Liberia as a result of the factional conflict taking place there. He is running a community based organization in the camp which promotes youth empowerment, community development and youth entrepreneurship. His largest project is training young people to assemble solar panels. His work helps to create a livelihood for young solar system installers and to bring environmentally friendly electricity to rural areas. He has provided free Information Technology (IT) training to girls- a segment of the population that has been hardest hit by the civil conflicts of the region. More than 125 girls have signed up for his computer training programs. He is a member of the World Youth Organization, UN commission on Sustainable Development Youth caucus, Peace Child International and the African Youth Forum.
