Maya bagan unschooling at the age of 14 & has been doing it ever since. She's gotten to be an author, fashion designer celebrity stylist, designer, have 2 water births, marry "the one," illustrate children's books, facilitate diverse workshops, master vegetarian soupmaking, coach people in all walks of life to create new empowering paradigms, & co-own businesses in the medical records, radio, film, & laser surgery industries, as well as create Urban Organica, a funky design house hyped on social & environmental responsibility. She loves influencing people of influence in the areas of organic living & natural parenting.

"I can't imagine another place where young people so full- of vison, purpose, accomplishment, workloads, painful & magical backgrounds can walk into a room & unpack together. The intimate connections made at the Jams is not like a normal retreat or network with strangers because we really find our visions bound up with eachothers, & the caliber of participants makes for f riendships that are taken seriously & held deeply in our hearts. The support I feel from my Jamily is such that I can maintain all of these relationships in a way that feeds the rest of my work in a way that doesn't feel new. Because we've all been holding so many of the same visions for this world for years."
