Mamadou is general secretary of Caor Decouverte productions, an organization in Dakar that uses the arts to educate people about AIDS, war, and illiteracy. He is a graduate of university with a major in management, and an author of books on development and culture. In 2004 he led a three week training program for 100 teenagers to gain skills in leadership development.
