Bio:

Karun is Manager for the Environmental Youth Alliance, a group that recognizes the interconnectedness between environmental and social justice issues. EYA actively works with youth from all kinds of backgrounds, races, classes and sexual orientations, empowering young people to take charge of their lives and work to build a healthier environment. Karun’s work utilizes media, workshops, presentations and political work. His current projects include a regional and national youth environmental policy network, a green workplace business eco-auditing program and a bio-diesel production facility.

"As activists we focus so much on healing the pain and conflict around us that we never get a chance to heal the pain inside our own lives, to grow as individuals with integrity and strength of spirit with healthy bodies full of energy to dedicate to our work.
