Bio:
Kalindi Attar, is extremely passionate about health, nutrition, and holistic healing and has been independently studying it for years. She graduated from University of Miami with a BA in Psychology in 2005. Kalindi then worked for The Washington Area Women’s Foundation in DC before moving to Oaxaca, Mexico. There she found herself heavily involved with the intense political situation that existed, writing daily and volunteering with an alternative media organization. She also firmly believes in the importance of youth collaboration, just completing a one month course in Brazil to deepen this work. Currently, she is gratefully and happily living and working in Oaxaca.
"“This has been an utterly profound week for me. Not only was I deeply inspired by the others in the Jam, but I was also able to see the light inside me shining more brightly. My heart has been stretched to new limits. It was amazing how in the span of one week, a diverse group of cultures, nationalities, and monetary backgrounds was able to leave themselves so incredibly vulnerable. Intense experiences of joy and pain were shared. I have new insight of how I want to live with my values aligned…health spirituality, awareness, community, action, presence. I am inspired more than ever to see how my life can impact social change in the world.”"
