Bio:
Jurandir was one of 8 youth chosen to leave the Xavante reservation and live in the city to learn Portuguese, He founded and directs IDETI- The Institute for Indigenous development and Studies, working through cultural events, gatherings and films, and projects to promote Indigenous rights and culture in Brazil. Outside of work, he organizes soccer games between men from the urban Guarani reservation and the Non-Indigenous car-salesmen from the dealership near his office. He also helped organize ESNA
