Bio:

Ibrahim Youssef El-Ali is a 26 years old Palestinian refugee living in Lebanon, though he has never stepped foot in Palestine . This is the core of one of his driving force - Palestine. Ibrahim studied Psychology and English literature and currently works with various international and local NGOs. His primary focus locally and internationally is with humanitarian aid organizations working with Palestinian and non-Palestinian refugees. His emphasis is working as a networker for international NGO s. His job, or as he prefers to call it, “what I do”, is to encourage people to exchange their experiences and ideas on how they can use their individual efforts as a starting point for community work . He helps children and adults learn how to adapt with their situation , how to create balance , operating with the philosophy of not working on them, but rather, with them . He believes people, such as those within his community , don’t need therapy , but they need a chance . Ibrahim’s most present challenge is how to change human suffering into human creativity. He believes that people don’t want charity, but desperately need solidarity. He likes reading, walking very long distances, traveling and meeting people. He is married.
