Austin is a critically acclaimed singer/songwriter who spends half his time on the road touring as a solo artist and as a member of The House Jacks. Austin has been signed to Warner Bros.’ Tommy Boy Records and APG Records and his discography includes 6 albums with The House Jacks, 4 as a solo artist, and producer credits on 20 albums. Austin is a successful voice actor with numerous credits on Konami’s award-winning Karaoke Revolution video game series and Red Octane’s Guitar Hero. Austin has shared the stage with Bonnie Raitt, Ray Charles, James Brown, The Temptations, The Gap Band, LL Cool J, Run DMC, Crosby, Stills and Nash and many more. His songs have received national airplay and have been included on MTV's “Road Rules”. Austin is also the director of ‘Til Dawn, a teen a cappella group. In the 10 years under his leadership the group has grown in size and profile, averaging 40 - 50 performances a year, winning Best High School A Cappella Group in California and Best High School A Cappella Recording. He recently joined the board of Rainforest Action Network (RAN), he’s been a member of the Board of the Freight & Salvage for two years and has been an active volunteer for Bread & Roses for 14 years, and donates his musical talent to a wide range of educational, social and environmental organizations.
