"I had an amazing, amazing, amazing time at the Jam – the best week of my life. The Jam was an overwhelming experience- in an entirely good way. The Jam experience was so completely unique- I went there expecting a conference with lecturers and seminars and talking about the issues and something that was very clear-cut, to the point that it was impersonal. Instead, what I got was an emotional, spiritual and mental experience that has changed the way I look at everything and everyone and actually changed ME — and I’m very excited about that. I’m looking forward to the challenges of my life and to the opportunities that have been opened up to me. I know this sounds cliché, but I actually feel empowered to do anything right now – I just have to explore a little. I have gained insight into myself, into the world and into a great group of people who will live on in me forever. I went to the Jam feeling like a child in a world of adults, but now I come back feeling like an adult living in a world of children.–Amrita Bhatia, 18, Seeking Needed Actions For Peace, Mumbai, India.."
