Bio:

Agnes became active in high school, shaking up the institution by founding a student organization dedicated to the improvement of education. She is a key leader in the movement which brought Luiz “Lula” da Silva to the Presidency of Brazil in a landslide election in October, 2002. She is actively involved in environmental and student struggles, and facilitates a variety of workshops and meetings on subjects such as art and music therapy. The youth center where Agnes volunteers has recently adopted a variety of new programs she submitted on Tolerance, Peace Culture, Enterprising and more.
