Site and Cost

The Ben Lomond Quaker Center is a beautiful retreat center nestled in the majestic redwoods of the Santa Cruz Mountains. Surrounded by hundreds of acres of hiking trails, creeks, and redwood forests, it is at once rustic and inspiring. Participants will sleep in double or triple occupancy cabins, and will bring their own sleeping bags.

Cost:
This event costs roughly $2,000 per participant to put on (including organizing staff time, accommodations, food, guest presenters, etc.), for a total budget of $59,000 (the budget is open and available upon request). We are fundraising to cover the majority of these costs, leaving tuition (including program, lodging and meals) at $500 per participant (or $450 for those who apply by January 15). Additional donations are welcome, and tax-deductible. A limited number of full and partial scholarships are available.
