Community Alliances Initiative – Introductory Evening

The Community Alliances Initiative (CAI) seeks to build bridges of trust, partnership and growth between diverse leaders, organizations and movements in the Santa Cruz community. Lillie Allen, the founder of Be Present, Inc., creator of the Be Present Empowerment Model©, Creatrix of Play and lead trainer, is coming from Atlanta to join with long-time CAI members in offering a free Introductory Evening, to be held Thursday, March 19, at Center for Conscious Living in Santa Cruz from 7-9:30 PM. This evening will include an introduction to the foundations of our work, real-life stories of community leaders seeking to walk the talk and live in a healthy, and conscious way in relation to race, class, gender and power, and some experiential opportunities to connect with others in the community.
